CURTAINWALL DESIGN

Designed to form a seamless and continuous exterior façade, curtainwall has been a consistent choice for architects and designers around the world to create aesthetically exceptional works of art through their building designs. A traditional “curtainwall” design is commonly recognized as an integrated wall system that bypasses out in front of the primary building structure at each level with engagement mechanisms that ensure continuity of the main structural mullions. These systems can be gasketed, pocket glazed, or stick built, though unitized systems with structurally sealant glazed glass tend to be the more common approach in today’s building environment for large-scale projects.

Since its inception, Façade Concepts has been involved at the forefront of curtainwall system design, helping to push the envelope with regards to performance across numerous metrics through intensive engineering and analysis built upon decades of industry experience.
